The Future

The NBA playoffs have come to an end and now we look forward to the NBA offseason as it molds many teams for the future.

The Timberwolves haven’t been quiet this season as Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted out that The Timberwolves have had preliminary talks about Butler.

Most importantly though is that Ricky Rubio has received interest from multiple teams around the league.

One coming from the Dallas Mavericks as Mike Fisher tweeted out that the Mavericks have had internal talks about Rubio.

Rubio is no stranger to being involved in the trade rumors lifestyle but this is the year he is moved. Let me explain why.

The draft is Thursday, June 22, which has the potential to be a draft to remember!

It’s fully loaded with names like Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball and  Josh Jackson to Ike Anigbogu, TJ Leaf, and Isaiah Hartenstein.

The prospects in this draft aren’t the only reason this offseason is going to be interesting.

With rumors flying around left and right I was always told where there’s smoke there is fire.

With names like Paul George and Jimmy Butler being tossed out in trade rumors teams are calling non-stop.

Reports from Sam Amico were that they Cleveland Cavaliers were interested in a trade for Paul George.

The Cavaliers aren’t the only ones interested in George as multiple teams have surfaced during the week.

The door for a Paul George trade was pushed wide open when Adrian Wojnarowski reported that George intends to leave the Pacers in 2018.

So let’s dig into some potential trades for Rubio that would benefit the Timberwolves.
