Thibs Gets His Son From Three Way

Minnesota Timberwolves Receive: Jimmy Butler

Chicago Bulls Receive: Ricky Rubio, Luol Deng, No. 7 Pick via Timberwolves, and No. 28 pick via Lakers

Los Angles Lakers Receive: Robin Lopez, Nemanja Bjelica & No. 16 via Bulls

Oh, the excitement that would come from the Minnesota front office and fan base would be through the roof.

The best part about this trade is that Minnesota keeps their young core and it’s realistic.

From Chicago;s standpoint, Butler is eventually going to leave and has been on the trade block.

This trade lands them with two draft picks in a loaded class one being top ten giving them the opportunity to land Butler replacement.

As well as landing a solid role player or future All-Star, yes, this class is that loaded.

As for the Lakers, they get to dump Deng’s salary as well as receive a center who can play in Lopez.

The most important thing is that they receive another pick and it’s right outside the lottery.

They could get a player like OG Anunoby or Justin Jackson if he falls or they could flip it for Paul George.

Minnesota gets the vet we all been waiting for and he happens to be a superstar.

Sliding Butler in at point would be my move allowing him to get his own while he opens the floor up for others.

Zach LaVine would be able to blossom at the three and Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns would see plenty open space.

Imagine a Butler, LaVine, Wiggins, Towns lineup. The defense and offense would increase by leaps and bounds.

Make it happen Thibs!
