Minnesota Timberwolves get: Khris Middleton

Milwaukee Bucks get: Ricky Rubio

What is something the Minnesota Timberwolves need? 3-point shooting and defense. Middleton would bring a great addition to the team – shooting three’s and playing solid defense.

He shot a career-high 43 percent from deep this season, however, he did only play in 29 games (injury). Some of those games were in limited minutes as well. But over his five-year career, he has shot a remarkable 40 percent.

Not only can he shoot three’s but he has a good free throw percentage, with a career percentage of 87 percent. Especially late in games, free throws are a big part of the game. Someone that the Wolves can trust putting him at the line.

Besides his rookie year, Middleton has averaged over one steal a game. With a career average of 1.3.

At 6-foot-8, 234 lb, he will be a matchup nightmare; with already three players scorching teams on offense.

Here are some highlights of his against the Los Angeles Lakers on March 17, 2017.

As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they are getting a great defensive-play-maker. While rookie of the year candidate Malcolm Brogdon is the point guard already; it may be ideal to slide him in at shooting guard.

Imagine Rubio dishing out highlight reel passes to Brogdon on the wing for a pull up three, or to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker for an alley-oop. It would be a scary thing to picture. As Antetokounmpo can already do a lot on offense without a point guard, imagine Rubio generating the offense for him.

This can be a win-win for both teams as it can bring each team to the next level.
