Con: Rebounding

Having Rubio at point guard over the years has been a blessing in terms of rebounding.

Ricky has been able to go get upwards of 10 rebounds a game at times. The old saying is “you never realize something until it’s gone” – and that is exactly what we will be saying.

Until this year, Teague was only grabbing 2 rebounds a game. Last year he improved that aspect and was able to come down with at least 4 a game.

His career high is nine rebounds in a game – which he accomplished only twice back in 2016. Teague only being 6-foot-2 and 186 pounds, is a bit undersized compared to the rest of the NBA players we see on a daily basis. A lot of his rebounds will come from shots bouncing far out to the 3-point line.

He is an aggressive player, but it won’t really help him grabbing rebounds inside the paint when there are players standing eight inches talthanthen him.

Compared to Rubio, Teague is a major downgrade in that respect.
