Minnesota Timberwolves: Pros and cons of Jeff Teague
Pro: Defense
Just like Rubio, Teague can also play good defense. Over his career, he’s averaged 1.2 steals a game. His career high is 1.7 during his all-star campaign in 2014-2015.
He isn’t going to be as good of a defender as Rubio was, but he will be able to get turnover’s and guard other point guards. He does have good perimeter defense, and with a lot of guards shooting three’s nowadays – will become very beneficial.
A team that struggled mightily on defense; will surely need the defense wherever they can get it. Teague will have the ability to play good sound defense for this team, and it will go a long way for this team.
