1.  Bring the Minnesota Timberwolves to the playoffs.

This one seems like the most obvious, but Teague is tailor made for this task.

As I pointed out earlier, Teague has never missed the playoffs over his long career in the NBA.  Who better to lead the ship than someone who doesn’t know what it feels like to miss the playoffs?

As good as Ricky Rubio was, the playoff experience of Jeff Teague is invaluable to a team that desperately needs it.  Pairing Teague with Butler, Gibson, and Crawford helps give the veteran presence that Minnesota lacked last year.

Teague knows how to win regular season games in order to qualify for the playoffs.  This will be a huge factor in the Timberwolves breaking the infamous playoff drought that haunts them.

If the Timberwolves can maneuver the stacked Western Conference for a playoff bid, Teague can help them in the playoffs as well.  Teague has played in every round but the Finals, hopefully that final frontier can be unlocked with the Timberwolves.

Just the pure fact that Teague has been in different rounds of the playoffs will help him spread his knowledge with the young guys who can propel this team to greatness.

For Jeff Teague the number one goal he should have is to continue his personal playoff streak by helping Minnesota get back there.

I can think of very few capable veteran point guards who are better fitted to help the Timberwolves get back to the big stage.  Jeff Teague may hold the key to returning the Timberwolves to championship contender status.

I can’t wait to see the things Jeff Teague can accomplish in Minnesota.
