2. Karl-Anthony Towns

Contract Signed: 3-year/$17,880,600

I know, I know, I know, Karl-Anthony Towns should have been an all-star this past season – so why isn’t he number one with a rookie contract? You’ll see in a bit.

Since entering the League, it’s clear to see that he’s going to be one of the best to ever play the game. After winning rookie of the year, finishing with an impressive 18.3 points a game,10.5 rebounds, 34 percent from three, and 1.7 blocks. How did he follow up that season? Oh I’ll tell you. He finished with 25.1 points a game, 12.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 36 percent from three.

The man is a beast, and it’s going to be exciting to see him continue to grow. He’s only 22 and hasn’t even hit his prime… let that sink in. It’s a scary thought, but just take a look at these highlights.

He can do everything, a rare talent for that matter. However, he isn’t the best defender, but if he can fix that issue then you’re going to be seeing a future MVP player.
