There really isn’t a bad contract on this roster necessarily. That is one thing Minnesota should pride themselves on (smart money spending).
The only reason Patton finds himself so low on this scale is because he is still too raw, and is injured. Not even a month into his pro career and Patton already broke his foot. Something that is always alarming to see, especially with him being a bigger man.

Hopefully he recovers quickly. But still alarming to see you’re first round draft pick go down so soon.
Patton was solely drafted on his potential, and is seen as very raw. He is a talented player, but he will most likely spend a lot of time in the G-League. This way he can develop and hopefully become that special player that he is so recognized as.
