The Minnesota Timberwolves Big Three of Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins figure to have a good season. But how good?

Minnesota Timberwolves big three is dangerous in this league with Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins.

Yes, Andrew Wiggins because he will be on this team when the season starts and ends.

If you don’t know Brian Windhorst tweeted out that Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland.

After he informed the Cavaliers that he wanted a trade to become the “Focal point player.”

This doesn’t come to shock most people as he was meant to be the star in Cleveland.

Irving included Minnesota as one of the locations he would want to be traded to.

With Irving saying that the world went into a frenzy with trades of Irving going to Minnesota for Wiggins.

Let me answer the trade request for Tom Thibodeau and Minnesota: it’s a no from us Cleveland.

Wiggins, at 22, has improved his scoring each year and even improved his 3-point shooting.

His defense has been a downside but with a trio of Butler, Taj Gibson, and Thibodeau I guarantee his defense will improve.

Standing at 6-foot-8-inches Wiggins is a mismatch on offense and with him playing the two guard he will only continue to improve.

Stats Please

Now let’s move on to the reason that you came to the article; my predictions for the Big Three.

Andrew Wiggins

Wiggins has done nothing but get buckets and that won’t stop. But what will start is him playing better defense.

Playing next to Butler and Gibson in the lineup will help Wiggins stay focus increasing his defensive mindset.

Add in the rumors of being traded, Wiggins will be out looking to make his haters eat their words.

He will have to get accustomed to being the third option but will love all the one on one match ups.

Stats Prediction; 21 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 1.6 STL, 1.0 BLK, 48FG%, 38.4FG3%

Jimmy Butler

There’s one player besides Wiggins who will be out to prove something; it’s Thibs very own chosen one.

Butler has heard that he wasn’t a good leader and was put in limbo by the Chicago Bulls for years.

Joining back with Thibs and Gibson won’t just make Butler happy, it will make him push even harder.

Thibs is the only other person Butler refuses to let down and will take the task of turning Minnesota into a defensive force.

With that being said defense won’t be the only thing he will bring with him.

Butler is Clutch and can expect him to be hitting those game winning shots for Minnesota.

Stats Prediction; 24 PPG, 6 RPG, 3 APG, 1.8 STL, 0.8 BLK, 46FG%, 37.3FG3%

Karl-Anthony Towns

The Last piece to the big three will be a top five player in the NBA in the next three years!

Towns is a freak and works so hard to only get better and do more amazing things than what he does already.

With that being said Towns will also be out for revenge after not making the All-Star game nor an All-NBA team.

Due to this, he will come out from the start of the season looking to show all the voters where the messed up.

While Wiggins defense will improve, Town’s will go through the roof thanks to Gibson pushing him to work.

Towns will have an MVP type season while he leads this team to the playoffs.

Someone call Kevin Garnett to be on the lookout for the next Timberwolves MVP!
