2. Jimmy Butler

This man is already becoming a legend in Minnesota. The Jimmy Butler era is beginning in Minnesota, and fans can’t wait to see him on the court.

The Timberwolves had never in the history of the franchise added a player the caliber of Jimmy Butler via trade or free agency. Until now.

Butler is a top-15 player by virtually every metrick, including the ESPN Player Efficiency Ratings. This now gives the Timberwolves two players in the top-15, something which the Timberwolves have also never had.

The accolades don’t stop there for the 27-year-old: Butler is a three-time All-Star, three-time All-Defense selection, and a 2017 All-NBA selection. Simply put, the guy is a beast.

He was forged by the defensive-minded Tom Thibodeau and is the perfect player to bet all the money on for the front office. Who better to lead the pack on defense than the Thibodeau creation himself?

Timberwolves fans are already making their admiration for the superstar known and he has taken notice. This one is simple: Jimmy Butler will be a leader and star of this team going forward.
