#3 – Kevin Love

Before being traded to Cleveland in the summer of 2014, Kevin Love was regarded as one of the best rebounders and best power forwards in the entire NBA. As a matter of fact, at the end of the 2010-2011 season, Love finished with the league’s rebounding crown, finishing the year with an average of 15.3 rebounds per game.

His ability to board and score at will were put on display November 12, 2010, as Love went on to set the Timberwolves’ single-game record for rebounds, finishing the game with 31 boards to go with 31 points.

During his six years in Minnesota, Love averaged over double-digit rebounds every season except his rookie year when he finished with 9.1 per game, largely in a bench role. It’s a little sad to think how great the “Next Kevin,” was for the Wolves, making three All-Star games, before being relegated to a third-scorer role on the Cavs. Of course, he has been to the Finals three times, winning one title.
