5.  Who will have the better season?

This is a close call but the safe guess is that the Timberwolves will have the better year.  Personally, I think the Vikings have a higher ceiling but it was hard watching such a historic collapse last year.

Having a strong leader is something both of these teams benefit from, and I have no doubt that Mike Zimmer will improve his team from last year.

The Vikings will be playing with a chip on their shoulder this year, and I hope that they prove the pundits wrong once again.

However, the Timberwolves front office have actively been making moves that should put their team in a great position going forward.  The Timberwolves will be playing in a more difficult conference this next year and will have to prove their worth in a crowded West.

It is shocking to see the similarities of the Timberwolves and Vikings.  Hopefully, the Timberwolves can make a name for themselves in the NBA with all signs pointing to this as a real possibility.

The Timberwolves are the new kid on the block for both NBA and local market relevancy.  With the Twins, Wild, and Vikings increasing their level of play the last few years, the Timberwolves will look to earn back the trust of many Minnesotans.
