Butler…shoulda been a cowboy?

He may not have a strong southern drawl like many from the Lone Star State, but Butler was born and raised outside of Houston, Texas in a town named Tomball.

According to an article by Windy City Hoops, he has a cowboy boot collection similar to any many player’s sneaker collections.

And sure, his sneaker collection is very impressive, but the fact he owns up to having such a vast cowboy boot collection is something not many people know about Butler. They may also be surprised to find out that Butler actually loves to listen to country music as well.

In the video below, Butler is jamming out to a little country while cruising with Jaylen Brown.

Timberwolves fans, your new superstar is an interesting guy. His success story is awesome, and as an end-of-the-first-round draft selection and an underwhelming rookie season (under Tom Thibodeau, no less), Butler continued to get better and better. And now, he’s a three-time All-Star entering the prime of his career.
