LAL @ Minnesota – 01.01.18

Wolves Win: 23-15

The Lakers come to town looking to get revenge for Christmas day and play a tight game.  The young Lakers come up short in the end however due to a stifling display of defense by the Wolves.

Minnesota @ Brooklyn – 01.03.17

Wolves Win: 24-15

Brooklyn will most likely be a bottom five team this year.  Home or Away the Timberwolves should consistently beat them this year.  The Nets lose in a blowout.

Minnesota @ Boston – 01.05.17

Wolves Lose: 24-16

The Timberwolves sniff the chance to be ten games over five hundred but fall short to the new look Celtics. Kyrie Irving reminds the Timberwolves why they considered trying to give up assets in order to bring him to Minnesota.

New Orleans @ Minnesota – 01.06.17

Wolves Win: 25-16

The Pelicans start seriously considering moving Cousins to Cleveland for a package that includes Brooklyn’s pick, Tristan Thompson, and a few other players. The Timberwolves win a tightly contested game.

Cleveland @ Minnesota – 01.08.17

Wolves Lose: 25-17

When the Cavaliers come to town the Timberwolves will put up a very good fight but this time it comes up short  Lebron Jamesis still the king for a reason.

OKC @ Minnesota – 01.10.17

Wolves Win: 26-17

This might be one of the most intense games of the season because at this point both teams realize this match up is personal.  The Timberwolves get the better of the MVP and company to solidify their position in the west.

New York @ Minnesota – 01.12.17

Wolves Win: 27-17

The Wolves finally reach the spot of being ten games over five hundred for the first time in over a decade.  The question is if Carmelo will still be on the Knicks by this time in the season? My guess is no.

Portland @ Minnesota – 01.14.17

Wolves Win: 28-17

The Timberwolves get their revenge here and beat Portland in front of their home fans.  The defense shuts them down in a blowout victory.

Minnesota @ Orlando – 01.16.17

Wolves Win: 29-17

Orlando doesn’t stand a chance in this game as they have already fallen out of relevance in the East by this point in the year.  Karl-Anthony Towns goes to work.

Minnesota @ Houston – 01.18.17

Wolves Lose: 29-18

In their first matchup with Houston, they will come up short.  The Chris Paul and James Harden duo prove to be too much for the Wolves in their first meeting.

Toronto @ Minnesota – 01.20.17

Wolves Win: 30-18

At this point in the season, it is established that when you come to play at Target Center you’d better bring your A-game and Toronto doesn’t in this one.  The Timberwolves rack up another home victory.

Minnesota @ LAC – 01.22.17

Wolves Lose: 30-19

The Clippers come into Minnesota ready to ball.  The Timberwolves take a rare home defeat to a confident and healthy mid-season Clippers squad.

Minnesota @ Portland – 01.24.17

Wolves Win: 31-19

The Timberwolves send a message in this road win over a divisional opponent.  Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler tag team this one in an impressive performance.

Minnesota @ Golden State – 01.25.17

Wolves Win: 32-19

The Timberwolves always get one win against Golden State, and this time we beat them in Oracle. The league realizes the Wolves are for real.

Brooklyn @ Minnesota – 01.27.17

Wolves Win: 33-19

Riding the high of beating the national champions lead the Timberwolves to cruise to victory over an inferior Nets roster.

Minnesota @ Atlanta – 01.29.17

Wolves Win: 34-19

Atlanta will be one of the bottom three teams in the league next year.  The Timberwolves increase their road record with a win in this one.

Minnesota @ Toronto – 01.30.17

Wolves Lose: 34-20

When the Wolves head North across the border they will run into a confident Raptors team looking to even up the season series.
