3. Andrew Wiggins

With a lot of talks revolving around when Wiggins will sign his contract this offseason, fans were given a breath of fresh air with the news that he will likely sign his contract this week. Wiggins, when asked about his contract situation, had a few things to say.

Probably the biggest highlight in terms of humor was this line when asked what he thought about Wolves Owner Glen Taylor asking to meet with him before signing the contract.

He mentioned that there is no rush in terms of signing the deal. Wiggins did say that he is uncertain whether or not he will hire another agent.

Agent or not, It looks and sounds like Wiggins has virtually ‘signed’ the max-contract given to him.

Thibs told Wiggins that he wants to see more rebounds and better defense from him this year. To add to that, Wiggins said his goal is to grab at least five rebounds a game, increasing his total last year by one (4.0).

He said he primarily worked on his 3-point shooting and ball-handling. He was never a bad outside shooter, but adding a better shot along with ball-handling to his arsenal will be a scary thing to watch offensively.

One red flag brought into question when the Wolves traded for Jimmy Butler was how would he and Wiggins co-exist. Both playing pretty similar games, and the same position, many questioned how it would affect the spacing and shooting. Right off the bat, Wiggins says:

"Me and Jimmy are going to be a problem both on the offensive side and the defensive side."

Let’s hope that is the case, and the two can co-exist together.
