As Andrew Wiggins prepares to be offered a max deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, there’s much more than just contract extensions that excites the 22-year-old.

Having been drafted first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014, the man out of Kansas was swiftly traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three-team deal alongside the Philadelphia 76ers.

Since then, Wiggins has only had eyes on how to best break the longest current playoff drought in the NBA.

Alongside Karl-Anthony Towns and Jimmy Butler, importance has been placed most recently on getting one-third of the terrific trio to commit his future to the franchise.

To many, Wiggins is someone who carries himself with a calm demeanor, both on and off the court. Rarely showing emotion, he’s a difficult book to read.
