3. He will never participate in a dunk contest

Andrew Wiggins will never do what former teammate Zach LaVine has already done – twice.

Timberwolves fans will be looking around for who can take the Slam Dunk champion mantle off now-Chicago bound LaVine, and that someone should have been Wiggins.

Known for extravagant, hard-hitting dunks, the small forward would appear to be the most likely to take LaVine’s place as the Wolves’ slam dunk master.

One need only watch Wiggins virtually clamber above Nikola Jokic versus the Denver Nuggets to understand such an argument.

But why won’t he step up? Because of the one he lost during his high school days.

Competing in what some regarded as the best high school dunk contest, Wiggins went up against guys such as Aaron Gordon and Jabari Parker.

Yet, it was not either of aforementioned two that he lost to. It was Rio Grande Valley Vipers man Chris Walker.

The Timberwolves man said of the tournament and dunk contests:

"My story is, I lost in high school, right when I was in the McDonald’s [All-]American Game, so I really don’t do dunks anymore. Right now, you can give it to him [LaVine]. I won’t be doing all the surprise dunks. I just keep it simple – one hand, two hands, [but] I lost. I’m not doing it again. Maybe one day, but [not] right now. I thought I should’ve won."

Even so, we will not tire of watching these all day:
