Player to watch: Jordan Bell

Ever since the Warriors drafted Draymond Green with the 35th pick in the 2012 NBA draft, the entire league has been looking for the next Green. Unfortunately, Golden State may have struck gold twice.

Jordan Bell was a three-year player at the University of Oregon. While his stats won’t jump off the page at you, he was a valuable contributor in many ways. Many, many ways. During his final season in college, he averaged 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. At 6-foot-9 and 224 pounds, he’s not too far off from looking like Green either.

Here’s a little Green to Bell love:

If Bell can ever turn into even a fraction of the player Green has become, the Warriors may have tightened their grip on the Western Conference.

He won’t drop 20 plus points on the Wolves, but he will fill the stat sheet. Also, look for the rookie to defend multiple positions, including matching-up with some of their best players. It will be very exciting to watch his career progress.
