Small Forward: Kawhi Leonard vs. Andrew Wiggins

We talk a lot about Andrew Wiggins’ potential. Well, Kawhi Leonard is a best-case scenario for what Wiggins could become.

Leonard has already cemented himself in the top-five player debate. Some might even put him (wrongfully, in my opinion) above LeBron James in the best two-way player debate.

While Wiggins is teetering on the verge of top-10 small forward in the NBA status, he has nothing on the Klaw.

Even since Leonard has entered the NBA, he has had an effective field goal percentage over 50 percent. Wiggins has yet to even hit 50 percent. Considering the only thing Wigs is great at is scoring, this should be enough to end the debate.

The defensive end of the court tips the scales more in the former San Diego State product’s favor. The lowest defensive win share season he has had is a 2.4 in his rookie season. Wiggins’ best season is just 0.9, which came last season.

Enough said.

Advantage: Kawhi Leonard
