Highest Hope #2: What if… we meet Golden State in the Western Conference Finals?

Why not?

The state of Minnesota is hungry for a playoff run, and we finally have a team that can make it happen.

Of course, the likes of Oklahoma City, Houston, and San Antonio will surely have something to say about the Wolves waltzing to the final stage of the West playoffs. But a run towards a top-four seed and an opportunity to open the playoffs with home court advantage would be a huge step in the right direction for Tom Thibodeau’s crew.

Maybe, just maybe, the season will come full circle, from a pair of preseason tilts overseas in China to a Western Conference showdown and the chance to take on the league’s best, with the victor receiving the honor of taking on Cleveland or Boston in the NBA Finals.
