As the long and exciting NBA offseason draws to a close, we finally get to turn our attention to the regular season, and that means our first regular season Timberwolves game preview.

While it’s been one of the more exciting offseasons in recent memory for Timberwolves fans, at this point its fair to say that every NBA fan is itching to see regular season action.

The Timberwolves start off their regular season against the San Antonio Spurs. The game will be played in San Antonio at 8:30 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday. It will be a perfect measuring stick to start the season, up against a Spurs team that is perennially elite and is shaping up to be the same in 2017-18.

With new additions lining up for both squads and expectations as high as ever in Minnesota this one predicts to be a captivating season opener.
