Top 5 Andrew Wiggins’ performances that justified the max contract

Coming into this last season, Wiggins proved once and for all he was max-contract worthy.

Scoring an enormous 41 points in 39 minutes, Wiggins shot 53.3 percent from the field. The other stats took a bit of a hit for the points in this game,  but in a game where the Wolves still managed to lose, there was no harm in Wiggins chasing points.

We didn’t come up with the result we wanted, but at the end of the day, Wiggins proved just how efficient of a high-volume scorer he could be.

Performances like this would be more than welcome this year on the Timberwolves’ quest for a playoff berth.
