After a dismal performance against the Indiana Pacers at home Tuesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking to get back in to form against the Detroit Pistons. We take a deeper look into some of the key details for both teams.
It was not a fun night last night. And that is putting it mildly.
The Wolves, who were heavy favorites heading into the game against the Pacers, were massacred in front of their home crowd 130-107.
It is a very, very long season though and the Timberwolves will have a chance to redeem themselves immediately as they face Detroit on the end of their first back-to-back of the season at 6 pm C.T. on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
The Pistons are currently sitting with the same record as the Timberwolves, 2-2. They too will be looking for a redemption game, as they are coming off a 97-86 loss at home to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Dropping the Pacers game will sting for Minnesota, who need to win those type of games if they are to become a Western Conference powerhouse like they desire. Pistons have had their struggles too this year, and Tom Thibodeau and Co. will be thinking this is another must-win game.
So, let’s have a look at what the main difference makers will be in this game.
