As the Timberwolves season continues, we continue our series of deep dives into the backgrounds of individual Wolves players. This time around, it’s Gorgui Dieng‘s turn.

A move to the bench this year has been a strange one for Gorgui Dieng, who had seen his role consistently improved over his first four NBA seasons.

Really, he’s been a gem ever since being drafted with the 21st pick back in 2013. He has proven to be one of the Timberwolves most reliable players in his time in Minnesota, serving as a familiar face bridging the Kevin Love Era all the way to the Jimmy Butler Era.

Fans will feel like they know a whole lot about Dieng, but there is always more to know!
