I’ll be producing power rankings for Dunking With Wolves, a weekly series that will examine the best performers for the week in Timberwolves basketball.

This week in Timberwolves basketball ended the same way it did last week, with an exhilarating win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 119-116 win didn’t arrive with the same kind of optimism as last weeks win though, as the Wolves had played embarrassingly in their two other games this week.

Even without the newest star in Minnesota Jimmy Butler, the Wolves struggled mightily.

With a confidence seemingly growing like never before in the franchise, the Wolves simmered that down when they started the week with an ugly 130-107 blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers and backed that up with 122-101 loss in Detroit to the Pistons.

Relevant GIFs aside, the Wolves were terrible for the first two games this week, Jimmy Butler or not.

The OKC game saved what could have been a disastrous week in Wolves land. Sitting at 3-3 for the season, the Timberwolves are still primed to play strong basketball, especially with an easier schedule coming up.

Let’s see how the Power Rankings are stacking up.

*Players must play at least 10 minutes in the week to qualify*
