Minnesota Timberwolves power rankings: There’s a new sheriff in town
1. Karl-Anthony Towns (3)
Season averages: 34.2 MPG – 24.8 PPG – 11.8 RPG – 1.8 BPG – 57.4% FG – 30% 3PT – 90% FT
Weekly average: 34.3 – 28.0 PPG -12.0 RPG – 2.3 BPG – 56.1% FG – 36.4% 3PT – 94.1% FT
Defensive lapses aside, Karl-Anthony Towns was back to his consistent offensive best this week.
He managed to cash in 20+ points in all 3 games, the only Timberwolf to do so. He shot over 56 percent and improved his long-range shot back to what Wolves fan expect nightly from the big KAT.
Including this huge night in Minnesota.
He struggled mightily on the defensive end for the most part, dominated by Andre Drummond, Steven Adams and somehow even Domantis Sabonis.
But when the whole team had a disappointing week, Towns was still clearly above the rest.

He might not have had the impact that Jimmy Butler had against Oklahoma, but he has been the Timberwolves most consistent performer this season, and for that, he has successfully scaled the power rankings the week.
Tune in next week to see how everyone stacks up!
