Wolves Guru John Meyer put forth an intriguing question to Wolves fans after Taj Gibson’s workmanlike week, and it’s a fun one.

I think I have settled on Mr. Clean.

Partly to do with his shiny bald head, but more importantly to do with his dirty, gritty attitude towards fighting for rebounds and loose balls.

Hence, Mr. Clean had another fantastic week, perhaps his best in a Timberwolves jersey.

7 points and 4 rebounds didn’t look so fly in the box score to start the week in Miami, but Gibson still did his dirty work late in the overtime game, before posting two huge double-doubles against the Pelicans and Mavericks.

He was just 2 points shy of a third consecutive double digit points and rebound night against Charlotte, capping off a fantastic week for Gibson.

Mr. Clean has clearly made a huge difference in the Wolves starting line-up, and has bought a toughness that has been long-needed.

If it wasn’t for the exploits of some other Wolves starters, Taj Gibson may have climbed the rankings this week.
