3. Andrew Wiggins (3)

Season stats: 35.6 MPG – 19.9 PPG – 4.6 RPG – 1.4 APG – 46.5% FG – 34% FG – 57.4% FT

Weekly averages: 37.1 MPG – 20.8 PPG – 4.8 RPG – 1.3 APG – 47.1% FG – 25% 3PT – 65% FT

The scoring wizardry was in force once again this week with Andrew Wiggins who came just a made field goal away from posting 20 points in every game.

Although the 3-point shot – which was red hot earlier in the season – has cooled right off, Wiggins still managed to score efficiently this week, producing crucial late-game buckets in both the Heat and Pelicans games.

He also put Josh Richardson on a poster (see the first slide) and put elite defender Anthony Davis in a defensive daze.

Highlights aside, Wiggins has got back to crashing the boards which is a great sign and more importantly has looked much better on defense.

Wiggins posted an exciting 100.6 Defensive Rating this week, a major improvement over his 108.3 mark for the season.

If Wiggins can lift his long ball back to the heights it was earlier in the season, while continuing to defend and rebound well, he will be giving the top two of the rankings a real shake-up.
