On the back of two disappointing losses, the Minnesota Timberwolves look to right the ship in Salt Lake City, against a tough Utah Jazz team. Here is an in-depth game preview of the match-up.
After five impressive wins in a row, the Minnesota Timberwolves fans’ spirits have come plummeting down after disheartening losses to Golden State and Phoenix, but the Timberwolves get another chance to improve on their 7-5 record against divisional rivals in Utah on Monday night.
Utah, who sits in ninth place in the rugged Western Conference with a 6-7 record themselves, will be looking to continue their momentum off the back of a comfortable 114-106 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
This will be the second game of the season series against the Jazz, with the Wolves taking the first game in a 100-97 thriller thanks to a Jamal Crawford special.
Unfortunately for the Jazz, and NBA fans alike, Rudy Gobert will miss the game with a knee contusion that will keep him out a further 4-6 weeks.
