2. Seth Curry – Guard/Dallas Mavericks

The other Curry brother is pretty good in case you didn’t already know. He just so happens to be on a team that is a legitimate contender… for the first overall pick in next years draft.

Seth Curry has bounced around as a journeyman in his young NBA career until he made a mark with Dallas last year. In his one season with the Mavericks Curry averaged just under 13 points per game while shooting 42.5 percent from deep.

However, his season hasn’t held an ideal start for the lesser known Curry. In fact, he hasn’t made his 2017-2018 debut due to a stress reaction in his left tibia. His timetable for return is all over the place but there have been rumors that it would be sometime soon.

Curry may be the perfect candidate for trade bait when the halfway mark comes around later this season. There is no doubt that he would fit the bill for the outside shooting that the Timberwolves could use, and he actually has a decent amount of upside as well.

We all know his brother Steph Curry is a legitimate superstar but Seth Curry can hold his own on an NBA court as well. He was a big part of the reason that Dallas was competitive for a brief part of the season last year and could be a huge pick up for the Wolves.

The Mavericks will have a bit of a rebuild on their hands going forward, and they may choose to sell high on the journeyman they brought in last year. Luckily for the Timberwolves selling high would most likely be a draft pick paired with an expiring contract such as Cole Aldrich or Shabazz Muhammad.

Curry would be a great low risk, high reward pick up for this current Wolves team. I for one would be very excited to see a Curry in a Timberwolves jersey.
