6. Nemanja Bjelica (7)

Season stats: 15.6 MPG – 7.4 PPG – 3.0 RPG – 0.6 SPG – 57.6% FG – 53.1% 3PT – 91.7% FT

Weekly stats: 15.6 MPG – 4.7 PPG – 4.0 RPG – 0.7 SPG- 40% FG – 25% 3PT

The flamethrowing-arms of Nemanja Bjelica cooled down this week, but his rock-solid defense and his counterparts bad play have helped Bjelly regain his ‘sixth man’ position in this week’s power rankings.

Bjelica struggled with his outside shot, seeming like he was trying to force his hot hand upon the opposing defenses. Bjelica did look like he was willing to continue to keep firing through his dry spell, which is a refreshing change from previous years.

Along with his 6 points, and 7 rebounds (improvements!) against Phoenix, Bjelica was extremely active on defense, finishing with a steal and a number of impressive defensive plays.

It was a down week for the Timberwolves, but It is especially nice to see Bjelica have a cold shooting week, and still contribute enough in other areas to move up in the power rankings.
