5. Jeff Teague (4)

Season stats: 33.3 MPG – 13.7 PPG – 7.5 APG – 1.8 SPG – 40.8% FG – 41.7% 4PT – 80.9% FT

Weekly stats: 34.3 MPG – 14.7 PPG – 4.3 APG – 2.3 SPG – 36.8% FG – 40% 3PT – 71.4% FT

It was a tough week for Jeff Teague, whose inconsistent play is becoming a staple of this Timberwolves team.

His great games often come in Timberwolves’ wins, while his bad ones come in ugly losses.

This was evident this week as Teague went 4-13 from the field and posted a team-worst -20 Plus /Minus in the loss to Golden State, and backed that up with just 8 points, 6 turnovers and, once again, a team-worst -23 Plus/Minus in Phoenix.

But as has been the case all season, Jeff Teague turned it up in the Timberwolves win over Utah, scoring 22 points and hitting 4 of his 7 3-pointers.

As well as this beautiful lob for Karl-Anthony Towns.

Teague is clearly an early barometer for the Timberwolves success, so it is vital he has more impressive weeks than this moving forward.
