1. Grayson Allen

Grayson Allen just seems like a Tom Thibodeau type player. Say what you will about the extra-curricular activities, but Allen is nothing if not a hard-working, gritty, grind-it-out winner.

You know he’s going to go to war for you every single time he touches that floor and as a coach, that’s all you can ask for.

Allen would fit in wonderfully as a spark plug off Minnesota’s bench. As a combo guard, he could play either position and can shoot well enough from the outside to space the floor.

He’s also going to give it his all on defense and make the opposing player work for every inch of the floor. I can certainly see his NBA role being a D-and-3 type player. Even though he’s the type of player you love to hate, you have to respect what he brings to the table.

If Allen can bounce back from an extremely disappointing junior campaign, he could see his draft stock rise. However, with the infatuation for younger prospects, this four year senior will likely slide toward the end of the first where Minnesota could be waiting to snatch him up.
