Major Key for Miami: Hassan Whiteside

The last game he missed due to injury was against the Timberwolves back on October 30th, so I’m sure he’s looking forward to helping his team get some revenge.

The key to a Miami victory will be a scoring and reliable post presence from Hassan Whiteside. If Whiteside can dominant the paint on both sides of the ball for Miami it will be a tough game for Minnesota.

It’s no secret that this Minnesota offense likes to get to the rim and do a bulk of their scoring in the paint. If Whiteside can make his presence felt inside the post and force the Wolves to beat them from midrange or deep, it may end up with the Heat stealing one in Minnesota.

Whiteside has been streaky up to this point in the season. Some around the league think he is being under utilized or just simply being utilized wrong all together. Either way, when Whiteside plays well for this team, the sky is the limit.

KAT will have his work cut out for him when he comes up against Whiteside for the first time this season. If the Timberwolves can limit his production or make him uncomfortable early it may hold the key to victory for Minnesota.

The match up to watch will certainly be between the two big men in this one.
