5. Jeff Teague (4)

Season stats: 33.9 MPG – 14.0 PPG – 7.5 APG – 1.8 SPG – 41.8% FG – 40.3% 3PT – 81% FG

Weekly stats: 37.3 MPG – 22.0 PPG – 11 APG – 2.0 SPG – 54.5% FG – 50% 3PT – 90% FG

The aforementioned injury to Teague is what has him slipping this week, even with Taj Gibson dominating frontcourts. But Teague did play the minimum 10 minutes, in fact, he played a touch over 37 of them.

Making every one of them count.

Teague posted an impressive 22 points and 11 assists in the win over Orlando and was crucial in a third quarter – putting up 6 points, 3 assists with a +13 Plus/Minus.

He also gave the Magic fits in the paint, leading to his 9-for-10 free thrown shooting.

Perhaps the mjaw-droppingping number for Teague however, was the one turnover he had in front of the Minnesota fans versus the Magic, all while compiling the 11 assists.

Turnovers have been one of the Timberwolves’ fans’ main gripes about Teague, whose 3.3 average per game are not what Wolves fans are used to seeing with incumbent point guard Ricky Rubio running the show for over half a decade.

There isn’t a lot to analyze abut Jeff Teague’s power rankings week, but the one game that he featured in should be a blueprint for the rest of Jeff Teague’s season, and was enough to keep him in the top five this week.

Get healthy quick Jeff, we miss you.
