4) Tyus Jones should get to start…. because the offense looks a lot better with him out there.

Yes, this is certainly something to consider. I’m not a big believer in fitting offense into boxes, pleading for it to “look pretty”. The Wolves have had pretty offenses in the past that haven’t led to winning teams, while NBA fans all over the world have complained about the iso-ball of Toronto and Cleveland, or the pound the rock Grizzlies, over the years and those teams have led to real success.

But that being said, the offense does seem to have a little better flow to it with Tyus out there. Part of the reason is that Tyus’ limitations are actually strengths with our current roster.

The Wolves have 3 insanely talented offensive players in Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins and Karl Towns, and Sunday seemed to feature all 3 of them a little better than some games with Teague have.

Teague is a very good scorer and looks to score himself often. There is an argument I’d buy that says Tyus should play with the starters more, while Teague carries the bench units and units where Jimmy and/or Wiggins are sitting.
