Minnesota Timberwolves game preview: Dec. 6 at Los Angeles Clippers
Player to watch: Jimmy Butler
You could see this one coming a mile away.
After exploding for 33 points – including 20 clutch ones in the fourth – last time these two teams played, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Los Angeles Clippers will definitely be watching Butler in this one.
For Timberwolves fans however, we are hoping that they are watching him burn them again.
Butler has been on a roll lately, assuming the position of the alpha dog on this Minnesota Timberwolves team that has been desperate for a leader. Butler has dropped consecutive 30-point outbursts, and will look to make it a third against a team that includes Wes Johnson (who Wolves fans know all too well) and Sindarius Thornwell as potential match-ups.
It will be interesting to see if Jimmy Butler will continue to drag the Timberwolves to the finish line in this one, or whether he will deter to the aforementioned Karl-Anthony Towns to try and get the 7-footer some confidence.
Next: Tom Thibodeau is playing his starters just enough
If Butler does decide to turn on the scoring jets however, you better find yourslef a TV to watch this one in front of.
Tune in on Wednesday to find out how the Timberwolves go!
