SG: Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler is a superstar and one of the elite players in the NBA. DJ is a star who would definitely make any team he goes to better. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Yes, I know that things have not worked out perfectly in Oklahoma City so far, but this is a different situation. In OKC, they brought in two ball-dominant players to play with a ball-dominant point guard.

Bringing Jordan in with Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns would create a throwback big three that would be able to say they have a better frontcourt then almost any team in the league.

Butler is by no means throwaway piece.

Being able to put both him and DJ in a pick and roll would be devastating. The former Bull has scored on 33.1 percent of the time he has been the ball handler during a pick and roll. That puts him in the company of guys like Marcus Smart and Russell Westbrook. Jordan, while the roll man (the player who goes towards the basket on the pick and roll) scores 69.7 percent of the time.

Their time playing together on team USA will only make the transition to the midwest easier in terms of chemistry between Butler and Jordan. If he makes his way to the land of 10,000 lakes, we should not fret about stars clashing.
