Another week for Tyus Jones with the Sixth Man power rankings position locked down for the ever-exciting point man.
This week wasn’t the typical Tyus Jones week, however. As the former Duke product switched his usual floor-general style playmaking to a remarkably efficient scoring style of wizardry, something fans have craved to see the diminutive point guard do for too long.

Even if it may have not been enough for Jimmy Butler, you can bet that Timberwolves fans feel a soothing calmness whenever Tyus Stones enters the game and is allowed to install his version of Thibs’ offense.
Not to mention the thievery Jones shows on defense have become more than just enticing flashes.
The 1.1 steals that the 6-foot guard racks up per game have him as one of only two players (!) in the entire league averaging over one theft per game in under 17 minutes of action a night. The other being Blazers guard Shabazz Napier.
Not only is Jones still an elite set-up man, he is scoring confidently, knocking down his 3-balls and playing some stiflingly-good defense. It is no question who the Minnesota Timberwolves best bench player has been so far.
The hometown kid.
