4. Jeff Teague

Season stats: 34.3 MPG – 13.7 PPG – 7.1 APG – 1.5 SPG – 44.7% FG – 40.4% 3PT – 80.8% FT

Weekly stats: 35.1 MPG – 14.3 PPG – 5.5 APG – 1.0 SPG – 52% FG – 31.3% 3PT

As has been the case for Jeff Teague for the entirety of the 2017-18 regular season, this power rankings week was a steadily efficient week, while not a spectacular one.

Teague was solid in all four games at home this week, with the diminutive guard scoring over 10 points in every game, hitting over half of his shots (52 percent) despite finally cooling off slightly from behind the 3-point arc.

JT shot just 5-16 from long range this week, but his 4 attempts per game bode well for the Timberwolves who have seen how good the former Pacer can be when loading up from distance.

Like, any distance. Apparently…

The most controversial part of Teague’s week was certainly the foul call he received in the dying moments of the Phoenix Suns game, leading to three free throws and a loss.

The most heart-wrenching part of the play is that Teague had a fantastic game until that fateful moment, and was one of the furthest reasons for the Timberwolves implosion on the night. Teague finished with 17 points and 8 assists with 0 turnovers, nailing 8 of his 14 shots.

Teague may have had a rough foul call, but his overall play this week more than warranted his step up the power rankings ladder this week.
