In a season full of ups and downs, numerous of Timberwolves players have shown improvement early on. Let’s take a look at the five players who have shown the greatest early growth this season.

Not surprisingly, it has been a group effort by everyone on the Timberwolves to get the team to where they currently are in the standings. As it stands the Wolves are 20-13, good enough for fourth in the Western Conference.

However, there have been numerous players who have shown noticeable growth in their game early on this season. Whether they have shown growth in one aspect making them superstar worthy or they have shown growth in numerous aspects making them solid role players, growth has been seen in at least five different players.

Their individual growth has been beneficial in two ways. One is for the team, which is the most important. It is, after all, a team game and the goal is to help make your team as successful as possible. The other way is obviously beneficial to the player. The better they do and the more growth they show, the more they are taken as a serious threat to opposing teams.

Some of the below players who have shown growth may come as no surprise as they have burst onto the scene this year. Others have been well-known and have stepped up in various ways which has impacted the team in a positive way more so than others.

The bottom line is that the five players who have shown the most growth may not be just based on numbers. I have also figured in how much their growth has impacted the team one way or another.

With that, here are five Wolves players who have shown the most growth early on this season.
