Weekly stats: 23.0 MPG – 16.7 PPG – 3.3 APG – 0.3 SPG – 51.4% FG – 53.3% 3PT – 100% FT

They call him Forever 21. They aren’t wrong.

Jamal Crawford well and truly wound back the clock over the entire month of December, with the 37-year-old putting on a continuing his scoring show for the entirety of the power rankings week.

Crawford started off the week with a thrilling 20 points on 7-14 shooting against the Denver Nuggets, adding seven helpers. His eight-point fourth quarter outburst helped lift the Timberwolves to a memorable comeback win.

His 4-for-11 shooting performance in Phoenix wasn’t the best version of J-Crossover we have seen, but he still managed to score 11 points and dish 3 dimes out in the win, and he more than made up for any inefficiency with a second half special against the Lakers.

Crawford’s 14 second half points (19 total) is not a Christmas miracle, with the veteran making a habit of helping the Timberwolves over the finish line.

Nearly mid-way through his 18th season in the NBA, it is a great sign that the guard can still provide week’s like this, hitting over half his shots from the field, including a team-high 8 3-pointers from just 15 attempts.

Crawford can’t be expected to be this consistent with his jumper every week, but if he can give Minnesota weeks like this one every now and again, J-Crossover will keep being an extremely valuable player for the Timberwolves.
