The Minnesota Timberwolves hope 2018 goes as well as 2017 ended for them. Here are five resolutions they should make to end the 2017-18 season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves welcomed a new year by winning six of their final seven games in 2017. Let’s hope that type of productivity carries into 2018 where they face a very tough schedule over the first month of the year.

There are lots of things to be hopeful for, especially from a fan base that won’t be happy unless Minnesota wins every game ever played for the rest of time, but these five things should top the Timberwolves list of resolutions going into 2018.

These goals are a mixture of short-term and long-term outlooks, as Minnesota is fortunate enough to have potential franchise cornerstones  Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns both under 23 years of age playing alongside MVP candidate (that’s friggin’ right) Jimmy Butler.

Hopefully, these resolutions don’t get thrown to the wayside by February like 80 percent of New Year’s promises do. I have faith Tom Thibodeau and co. are as tuned in to Dunking With Wolves as you are and will make these goals a priority for their team. If not, I hope they know better than I do (highly unlikely) and continue to find the same success in the new year they had at the end of the old one.

Based on the title, I’m sure you can guess what at least one of these will be about. But without further ramblings, let’s dive into the five resolutions the Timberwolves should have for 2018.
