5 best individual Timberwolves performances of the first half
3. Karl-Anthony Towns vs. Sacramento Kings (Dec. 14, 2017)
30 points (11-16 FG, 2-4 3PT), 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks
Talk about a commanding game from Karl-Anthony Towns.
The 22-year-old made the entire Kings frontcourt look foolish in this one, posting one of his most complete stat lines of his already accomplished career, and hammering the Kings by 23 points in the meantime.
Towns beat Willie Cauley-Stein, Zach Randolph and Skal Labissiere to a pulp on both ends of the floor, nailing nearly everything he looked at on offense and swatting away shot after shot on defense.
The cherry on top of this tasty cake of a game was KAT’s ability to keep the ball moving and come away with five handy assists, mainly coming about from patient post-ups that lead to open cutters and spot-up shooters.
Another game that made it impossible to remember that this man could still be a senior at college.
