5. Jeff Teague (5)

Season stats: 33.7 MPG – 13.4 PPG – 7.1 APG – 1.5 SPG – 43.6% FG – 35.7% 3PT – 81% FT

Weekly stats: 33.3 MPG 13.7 PPG – 6.3 APG – 36.4% FG – 85% FT

As Jeff Teague tried to work himself back into form after the left knee strain that kept him out of a handful of January games, Minnesota fans saw the best and the worst of the diminutive point guard.

The worst came in the opening two games of the week; the 29-year-old had just 11 points on 5-of-19 shooting in the two games combined. He did have 13 assists, but failed to make a 3-point try and racked up five assists in the two-game span.

It looked sour for Jeff Teague, with howls for Tyus Jones to garner more minutes getting louder and louder by the day.

However, he broke the absolute hell out of that funk against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Teague was a mouse-like pack of dynamite in the win, posting a season-high 30 points on an uber-efficient 7-for-14 shooting and 16-for-17 from the charity stripe. Teague was a menace on offense, torturing Milos Teodosic every time he chose to, and when he wasn’t scoring himself he was dishing out dimes, like this one to Nemanja Bjelica:

If Timberwolves fans can get even 75 percent of that  Jeff Teague every night, there will be no complaints about their new point guard.
