1. Jimmy Butler (3)

Season stats: 36.9 MPG – 21.8 PPG – 5.4 RPG – 5.0 APG – 47.4% FG – 35.9% 3PT – 86.6% FT

Weekly stats: 36.6 MPG – 23.3 PPG – 6.0 RPG – 4.7 APG – 43.5% FG – 44.4% 3PT – 86.7% FT

Despite missing the first two outings of the week, Jimmy Butler returned to his usual rankings-leading programming when he made his return to the court against the Brooklyn Nets.

Jimmy G. was missing his usual bucket-getting efficiency in his first game back, shooting just 4-of-14 from the field on the night, though his tendency to live at the free throw line was present as usual as he went 12-for-14 from the line to finish with 21 points. Butler also chipped in six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block to round out a pretty nice box score for the now- four-time All-Star.

This clip shows just how much hustle, heart and basketball IQ the 28-year-old possesses:

Despite the two losses to end the power rankings week, Jimmy G. Buckets was back to his best. He dropped 27 points, seven rebounds and three assists against the Hawks before having 25 points, five rebounds and six assists in the Toronto loss.

Butler continues to be the best Timberwolves player most every night he suits up and it has been a blessing for Wolves and NBA fans alike to watch every single night.

Next: Wolves have a favorable pre-ASG schedule...
