Minnesota Timberwolves: 5 takeaways from the trade deadline
The Minnesota Timberwolves had a couple of rumors connected to them coming up to the NBA trade deadline, but when nothing happened here’s what we learned.
It doesn’t appear as if the Minnesota Timberwolves came close to making any moves at the NBA trade deadline, but I think I’m okay with that.
The only real rumors surrounding them involved Shabazz Muhammad, maybe Gorgui Dieng and maybe the 2018 first round pick owed to them from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Outside of that, there wasn’t much clicking on the rumor front.
Part of that probably has to do with how close to the vest Tom Thibodeau and company operate, rarely releasing their thoughts to the public or letting any extraneous information seep through the cracks to the press.
