9. Anfernee Simmons, SG, IMG Academy

Anffernee Simmons is in a unique position to enter the NBA Draft. At just 18-years-old, he’s technically graduated from Edgewater High School in Orlando and is currently playing for IMG Academy which should be able to serve as his required one year after high school. And being that he will be 19 come draft time, he should be eligible to hear his name called come June.

If that’s the case, the Timberwolves should seriously consider this 6-foot-4 shooting guard with their selection.

It will unquestionably be a huge jump for the teenager and he’s one of the least ready NBA prospects. That might scare Minnesota away, but Simmons has shown potential to be something special down the road.

With Jamal Crawford still having another year under contract next season and looking as young as ever this year, he might be able to bridge the gap until Simmons is ready to contribute at the NBA level.
