KAT is scoring almost five-points fewer than last season and nearly two points more than his rookie year. His field-goal-percentage and three-point-percentage are at career highs which is something to celebrate, a sign his slot selection is more efficient this year.
His assists are tied for career average while being slightly down from last season and up from his rookie year.
Towns rebounds are up on average while slightly lower than last season and higher than his rookie year. His defensive rebounds are up .5 from last season and more than a full rebound over this rookie year.
Towns’ overall grade is UP because he’s shooting more efficiently and is closer to an average defender than a poor defender. He’s definitely benefited from being in his second year with the same coach and having veterans surrounding him.
He’s not even close to reaching his full potential which should leave fans excited about the Timberwolves’ future.
