2. Nemanja Bjelica

Nemanja Bjelica perhaps deserves to be number one on this list, but he will have to settle for second place this time around.

Bjelica is one of the most accurate three-point shooters in the NBA, knocking down 43.6 percent of his outside shots this season. Unfortunately, despite that hot shooting, he’s playing a career-low 15.9 minutes per game.

Part of his low minute total is because of Minnesota’s loaded frontcourt with Towns, Gibson, Dieng and Bjelica. However, the other part is due to Thibodeau’s reluctance to play his bench despite them earning it through their play.

If Bjelica can simply earn another five minutes and be around 20 per game, it would help immensely. Some of those minutes he could play at small forward and limit Wiggins or Butler’s time, but the majority of it can come from Towns or Gibson to give them additional rest.

Bjelica is the one true outside threat Minnesota has on their team, yet, they hardly use him to that effect. If they can improve this, Bjelica would improve an already dangerous offense.
